"He has showed you, O man, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God." (Micah 6:8)

My husband was responsible for the biblical curriculum in the school, where we worked for many years. He has an ability to teach the Bible in a way that makes people desire to become affected directly by Christ. He used to tell his students that his theology was very simple. It had just two points. This was something the students took note of, and as a parting gift he was given a T-shirt with the entire theology printed on the back: “GOD IS GOOD”, and “HIS WORD IS TRUE”.

Christian faith is no more complicated than that. If every Christian always remembered these points and lived them, we would in all likelihood see a more stable, secure, loving and compassionate Christian community, and many people would be drawn to our churches.

Prayer

Lord, You are a good God. Thank you for your constant concern for us. Thank You that the Word is alive. We have been given It as a guide and help in life. Help us to receive the Word in our hearts today.
